CASEY CASTELLAW
The owner of Highland Park Dance Company, Casey Castellaw, grew up in The Park Cities. Casey graduated from Highland Park High School in 2002 and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. While at HP, Casey was a Highland Belle from 1998-2002 and served as a Highland Belle Lieutenant from 2000-2002. Throughout her drill team career, Casey was recognized as an All-American dancer, and a Miss High Kick Company member. In the summer of 2003, Casey co-founded HP Belles Prep, a summer drill team workshop for incoming freshman at Highland Park. Each summer the camp gained recognition and was praised for being one of the most effective tools in drill team preparation. At A&M, Casey was a member of the Chi Omega Dance Team and served as the team captain for two years.
AUDREY KERR
Audrey was born and raised right here in Dallas, TX. She attended Highland Park High School where she was a member of the Highland Belles Drill Team for 4 years. During her time as a Belle, she was a two time All-American, was voted Best Belle her senior year and served as President. Audrey has been teaching at Highland Park Dance Company for 6 years now and is currently a junior at Washington and Lee University.
CLAIRE SMITHAM
Claire has danced with Highland Park Dance Company since 2007. In 2008 Claire became a member of HPDC's Senior White Team. In 2009, she began assisting Casey with the competition teams as assistant director, and assisted in teaching advanced and intermediate conditioning camps during the Summer. Starting in 2010, Claire began teaching weekly technique classes and stretch and high kick classes for HPDC in addition to assisting the teams. Claire is currently a student at Texas A&M University, but plans to continue teaching conditioning camps and private lessons in the summer.
MEAGAN WHITE
Megan started dancing at three years old in her hometown studio in Texarkana, Arkansas. After dancing on the REdline drill team in high school, she went on to Kilgore College where she became a member of the World Famous Kilgore Rangerettes. Now Meagan is studying towards her Bachelor's of Arts degree with Teacher Certification, at T.W.U.. She has also been an employee of American Dance and Drill Team Company since 2007. Meagan wants to keep her passion alive by teaching young dancers and hoping to inspire them to love dance as much as she does.
SARAH BARNES
Sarah has enjoyed dancing for 20 years, performing and competing across many different styles. Sarah danced for the Highland Belles from 2004-2007, serving as a lieutenant her junior and senior year. As a Belle she was recognized as an All-American, member of Kick Company, and Miss High Kick for two consecutive years. Now a proud Texas Longhorn alumnus, Sarah is a member of the Chi Omega fraternity and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. During her years at UT, Sarah performed for the Texas Pom Squad, dancing in Texas football and basketball games. Hook 'em!
LAUREN ASHLEY GUY
Lauren has been dancing for the past 15 years and is knowledgeable in hip hop, jazz, tap and drill team prep. Lauren was a Shepton Stallionette and a member of F-Troop, an elite hip hop competition team. She is a judge and instructor for American Dance and Drill Team and works with over twelve drill teams and cheerleading squads in the DFW area. A few of her credits include AM 620 Radio Disney, Chi Farouk Systems, and backup dancing at the House of Blues. She is a Baylor University graduate and is a full time photographer and choreographer.
CATIE FRENCH
Originally from Austin, Catie served as a Lieutenant on the Westlake Hyline Dance Team and was a member of their elite Jazz Company and Honor Kick Line. She then attended The University of Texas where she was a member of the Texas Pom Squad, honored as the '06 Game Day Performer of the Year, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Dance. Catie is also proud of her 100% success rate in several of her drill team preparation course and currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Lake Highlands Highlandette Drill Team.
TAYLOR FOSTER
Taylor is currently as senior at HPHS and is serving in her second year as a Highland Belles Lieutenant. Taylor has danced since the age of 3, studying ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, prepatory company and drill team technique classes as well as competition teams. She has been a member of the HP Dance Blue, White and Elite teams and currently serves as director of the Silver team. When not dancing she enjoys her studies, friends and being a member of ASTRA, Hi-Lites, University Park Youth Advisory Council, and National Honor Society. Taylor has worked at HP Dance for four years. |
