ANNA DANG
Anna Dang was born and raised in Carrollton, Texas, and began her dance training at age five at Ballet Academy of Texas (BAT), where she trained for 12 years in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary. In 2017, she transitioned to homeschooling to
dedicate more time to dance and later joined BAT’s pre-professional daytime program and performing company, Ballet Ensemble of Texas.
In 2022, Anna continued her training with Ballet Frontier, where she was an intern with the professional company. She spent her senior year of high school dancing with Chamberlain School of Ballet.
Throughout her training, Anna attended summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre’s Young Dancer program in New York and California, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Colorado Ballet, and Louisville Ballet on scholarship.
Anna currently attends Southern Methodist University, where she is pursuing a degree in Advertising with a minor in Dance and plans to graduate in December 2027. At SMU,
she founded Sigma Phi Lambda, a Christian sorority, and is preparing to launch REIGN, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to helping college students experience Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.
