HP Dance Co. Offering In-House Physical Therapy, Performance Boost, & Injury Prevention
We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Parmis Rezvani PT, DPT. For many months, HP Dance girls have sought Parmis's help in healing injuries, building strength, and improving flexibility. Now, dancers can access Parmis's expertise right in our own space!
This fall, Parmis will be teaching two weekly classes for dancers age 11 and up.
Performance Boost & Injury Prevention
Parmis will also be offering 30-minute and 1-hour private Pilates, Performance, & Rehab sessions. To book a session or consultation, contact Parmis directly.
Parmis earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2018 and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2012.
Parmis completed her comprehensive certificate in Pilates rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates in 2018, and holds extensive training in advanced manual therapy, dry needling, and craniomandibular therapy. She uses this unique, holistic approach, and skillset to help Performing Artists and Dancers overcome acute injuries, and chronic issues. As a former dance athlete, Parmis understands the physical demands on dancers' bodies, and their unique challenges to mitigate future injuries and improve performance.
Parmis has a passion for bridging the gap between rehabilitation and dance to create a seamless transition. She strives to implement a holistic and integrative method of rehabilitation by coordinating the relationships between mind, body, and spirit to improve quality of life. She places high value in patient education, injury prevention, functional training, and high performance to safely, and promptly return athletes to the stage.
We have been eager to offer this type of resource to the girls for years! Parmis is an answered prayer, and we cannot wait to see all that she enables your dancers to accomplish.
